Versatile, powerful, and quiet 4,200 btu marine air conditioner with reverse cycle (provides a small amount of heat).
Includes Vega MK3 digital control with Auto, Dehumidify, and Defrost modes.
This unit is 115v/60Hz but it draws only 35 amps at 12volts, when it is run through a pure sine wave inverter (700w min) from a battery. This amp draw includes the inverter, 12v pump and the unit. Sleeping at night, away from the dock, in cool, quiet comfort is now possible.
Perfect size for cuddy cabin, v-berth, sleeping cabins, or other small spaces – on large or small boats. Use it at the helm station for that blast of cold air in the face!
Has a stainless steel base pan and brackets for long life in harsh marine conditions.
High efficiency Hitachi compressor for exceptionally low running and starting currents.
Air intake filter removes easily and quickly for routine cleaning.
